ENTREPRENEURS CATEGORY

The entrepreneur will be required to submit a write-up on everything about their business, operations, short-term and long-term goals, current financial capital, staff strength, and market.  A panel of judges then selects the five best write up and interviews them live during the retreat (Each candidate gets 3 mins each to pitch their business). The Judges then grade them from 1st to 4th positions.

GOAL

To help young adults find the courage to step out of the financial crisis, gain practical money skills and make informed financial decisions,

QUALIFICATION:

  • Must have a business with evidence of operations e.g. Social media presence
  • Must participate fully in the retreat.

INTRAPRENEURS/ MINISTERS CATEGORY:

The intrapreneur will be required to write (between 500- 700 words) about themselves, the organization they work for, their job /position, their tasks, their ideas, and plans for implementation.

Market place ministers will also write (between 500-700 words) about themselves, and their work, ideas, and plans for implementation.

The judges then select the 4 best write-ups and interview them live during the retreat (each candidate gets 3 mins). They are then graded according to their performance.

GOAL

To support the independent minister or an employee who wants to learn skills that will give them the opportunity to increase their productivity and financial prospects within an organization

QUALIFICATION FOR THE INTRAPRENEUR

  • Must be employed and submit evidence of employment.
  • Submit a recommendation letter from their supervisor.
  • Must participate fully in the retreat.

QUALIFICATION FOR THE INDEPENDENT MINISTER

  •  Must include names and contact of two referees
  • Must participate fully in the retreat.

COLLEGE CATEGORY

This category is open to students who are currently enrolled in college/university. Participants are required to submit an essay of between 300 and 500 words on a time that they have overcome difficulties in their life. The best 4 essays will qualify for the scholarship. GOALS

To provide financial support for students in college/ university and to inspire young adults.

QUALIFICATION

  • Provide evidence of admission into a college/ university.
  • Must participate fully in the retreat.
