5 Spiritual Questions

Hello dear friend, let’s have a brief conversation, I believe it will be worth your time.

We Live in a world to where people have diverse Spiritual Beliefs, some are passed down from family, some grow up and adopt certain spiritual beliefs. Some of such beliefs include:

Atheism: which is essentially a belief that Deities do not exist thus no such thing as God or supernatural beings.

Agnosticism which is the view that the truth of metaphysical claims regarding the existence of a god or gods, or even ultimate reality, is unknown and may be impossible to know.

Humanism is the belief that we can live good lives without religious or superstitious beliefs.

Bahai whose Key beliefs include belief in one God; the unity of mankind; equality of opportunity for men and women; and elimination of prejudice.

Buddhism A way of living based on the teachings of Siddhartha Gautama.

The list can go on. But I like to ask what are your spiritual beliefs?

Secondly, concerning the Personality, Jesus Christ, there are varied opinions about his identity. Some belief he was one of the prophets of Jewish descent, some belief he as just a miracle worker who lived and died, and his followers claimed he resurrected, etc.

I like to as you “who do you belief Jesus Christ is?”

Thirdly, there is quite a lot of talk about Heaven and Hell, and various religions maintain different positions and beliefs concerning the existence or non-existence of such places as Heaven and hell.

Dear friend, do you think there is a Heaven or Hell?

Finally, I like to know what you think about after life. Death is something common among the human race, people die for diverse causes. But just like other varied belief systems, some opine that when a man dies here it is all over and there is no other existence after death, others think otherwise, that there is judgement after death, by which a person’s eternity will be decided.

What are your persuasions about the afterlife, if the day comes when you die, what do you think happens next? Will you go to heaven that is assuming you belief in heaven, if yes why?

As it stands, it is evident that all men will have to face the consequence or blessedness of their beliefs along these lines, hence it becomes important to ask, ourselves if what we have believed is true. Hence, I like to ask you; If what you believe were not true, would you want to know the truth?

Now that you have read to this point, please permit me to share with you what the bible has to say about all these. Patiently read on.

Read the following scriptures out loud let us see Man outside of God’s salvation is enslaved to sin and deserving of death.

  1. Rom 3:23 for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
  2. Rom 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
  3. Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
  4. Joh 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
  5. Joh 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

The Gospel from the beginning. (Begin your Journey to Peace)

1. God’s plan from the beginning

God planned To have a family of Sons who Share in his nature and have his life, Eternal life.

This was God’s promise from the beginning.

Titus 1:1-2 Paul, a bondservant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect and the acknowledgment of the truth which accords with godliness, in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began,

2. Adam’s choice

The first man God invited to this plan was Adam, he was to receive of the Tree of life (which was symbolic of Eternal life through faith in Christ)

God in his love informed Adam of the consequence of rejecting this life.

It will be spiritual death to be without the life of God, separated from God.

Genesis 2:16-17 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”

Adam’s sin was disobedience. He rejected that life. Through Sin entered the world and death.

Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned—

3. God’s Redemption Plan.
But God in his love will yet solve this problem and save man from sin and death.

This he will accomplish by sending his son Jesus who will bare our sins and die in our place, as a substitute.

1 John 4:9-10 God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.

Jesus paid the price of our redemption and was raised from the dead.

4. Here is the good news today.

Eternal life is now made available to man today and all that is required to receive is to believe the Gospel.

What is the Gospel?

Jesus died for our sins and was raised from the dead… He who believes this is saved, he receives Eternal life, God’s Spirit dwells in him. He has immortality.

John 3:16 “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

Romans 10:9-10 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.

And even though he dies physically that’s a guarantee on Christ that his body will be raised from the dead immortal on the day Jesus returns.

1 Corinthians 15:22-23 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.

You can open your heart to accept God’s gift today.

A simple Prayer of faith: Dear God, I acknowledge that I am sinner, but today I believe that Jesus Christ the Son of God Died for my Sins, and that you raised him from the dead. I receive him as my Lord and Savior, I believe my sins are forgiven and I am born again.
